Sma Gi̽n Vrët (/sma/ /gi̽n/ [soft; quiet; gentle] [twin]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ḿoůma H́ueo̊ Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Sma Gi̽n Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Sma Gi̽n Vrët was founded by Liklepa Igegri, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Overview

Sma Gi̽n Vrët was founded durring the early 11th century, by Liklepa Igegri. The establishment of Sma Gi̽n Vrët was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Sma Gi̽n Vrët's construction back out of the project. Liklepa Igegri pushed on reguardles, and Sma Gi̽n Vrët was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Sma Gi̽n Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sma Gi̽n Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Sma Gi̽n Vrët is is constructed arround a series of broad cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

A look around Sma Gi̽n Vrët gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..
